    Beleieve it not, it is similar to the plastic that is almost hitting the tires in this pic of my truck. Similar.

    Well based off the picture of your truck, your friend should use a dremel I cut but see how it goes on the very inside of the fender well first.

    Having a second gen I can tell you that plastic is fairly thin. Let your friend know It would cut pretty easily with a new utility blade.

    The dremmel can get quite hot, so just be smooth with your motions. When I did some mud flaps a while back, the heat did slightly melt the plastic, but it gave it a nice smooth edge. Watch out for molten lava plastic that gets slung around.

    This is my preferred way to cut plastic. But I use a putty knife.

    X2 exactly what I was thinking about the lava

    That's the knife I was talking about.

    My tires were rubbing on the black bump stop. And the previous owner cut the other side off. So, off it went :eek:

    I dont really think it serves a purpose either. I had it cut flush with the bumper. I'll post a picture when I get done with breakfast.
