I like RRA stuff. They are priced great and use quality parts. I'm partial to colt, mostly because that's what I packed around in the Army, but they are kind of clunky and overpriced compared to RRA. If you do go Rock River, get the wylde chamber.

That's not an "assault rifle" despite what the hippies told you. An assault rifle is an automatic rifle that uses an intermediate cartridge and a detachable magazine. Assault rifles are the standard infantry weapons in most modern armies. Assault rifles are categorized in between light machine guns which are intended more for sustained automatic fire in a light support role, and submachine guns which fire a pistol cartridge rather than a rifle cartridge. Anything priced under $10,000 that doesn't come with an auto fire selector switch and a pile of paperwork with the ATF logo on it is a sporting rifle. LMT makes some of the finest sporting rifles I've fired though, I really like them a lot.

It's surrounded by National Forest, just pick a dirt road and head for the hills. If you cross Highway 97 and go over by the caves it's a little more open for long range stuff, just find somewhere with no people and tear it up. PICK UP YOUR TRASH. I know I didn't have to say that, I just pictured a blow up doll full of tannerite or some bachelor party shenanigans.

Copy that. If I bring it in, I take it out.

As long as I'm out of the "firearms prohibited" I'm good to shoot?

Ya, I just try to avoid people and never had any trouble out there. It's just a community full of californians, so better to avoid them. There is a million dirt roads though, pick up a forest service map.

Hell ya! Guns FTW! I've been shooting my lever action 1966 Winchester 30.30 lately! But occasionally i'll take the shotty out and skeet shoot over canyons.

There's definitely alot of shooting places in bend. I know there's a large pit which is a common place to go but i haven't been there in a couple years and i never knew the name of the road.

First use on my Ultra Guage to work - 23.3 AVG MPG = NOT BAD! Everything was right no! I'm not sure how it will react to bigger tires but i'll worry about that in a couple weeks. :D

I can vouch for RRA too. I have one and several buddies have them too. Good quality and price, never had any issues with them.

Been thinking about building another upper for mine for awhile...

And I just got done with finals! Summer at last. Now I need to get off my rear and get my engine cage designed and get to work on that.

Might pick up one of these at lunch (the rubber isolator). Either that or I might be switching over to a Hawse simply due to the bumper setup - the rollers stick out further than my light hoop, and I don't like that being the first point of impact

From the research I did, OME had superior valving. OME have a reputation of being stiff, but I don't find it annoying. Something like ICON will show a noticeable improvement over the OME - it adds additional smoothness, but at almost double the price.

However, I encourage you to do your own research.
