Everytime I go back there I find something new, especially when you're giving me directions! Where are you headed this time??

i forget the name of the trail, but we'll pick up the trail at piedra blanca and go through the mountains (get up to 6,000+ elevation) and it ends in lockwood valley. point to point, plus little side trails to some sweet swimming holes will be about 28 miles. starting early friday morning and ending sunday afternoon. gotta get back to hang with the pops on father's day

i'll be sure to take some good pics. my buddy is bribing a legit camera too

 

I put over 200 miles on my truck that day, and it was well worth it. There are so many places to trek and wheel out there its amazing! Thanks again for the directions, they were perfect! I still think we need to set up a 805 camping trip up there soon!

Depending on the photos you bring back, I might be needing some more directions!

 

At the huckfest run I noticed, on hard acceleration only, Im getting a studder or misfire at about 2800-3000 rpm. Drives perfectly fine if not hard on gas, but mash and at that rpm range it's almost like a rev limiter sound and feel but not nearly a pronounced. Has 140k on it, probably orig plugs and all. Bought it with 60k....not sure where to start, plugs n wires, dirty mass asiflow sensor......

Add that I'm having bad front diff noise.....trucks not happy nor is my bank account. I may be mia for a bit

 

Have rj check your spark plugs.

Well I was going to drive down today and I don't want to keep flaking on you/keep you waiting so I think you should sell them to someone else. I got a call from the school district in Grover Beach today, I have to drive up there to take paperwork for a job I'm applying for and today is the only day I have time to do that. I have a job interview there on Monday so I have to prioritize this stuff.

Havnt changed plugs yet.

Noise is coming from passenger side. Thought it was a wheel bearing but it has no play in it. U can even feel it in the floor board a lil. A rotational sound.

Fucking all at once man! Bummed....

 

If I get this job I would work there but I don't know if I'd live there or somewhere in a surrounding area. I still have to interview on Monday though ahhhhhhh scary.

Not for sure yet. I've been wanting out of sb for so long though! Biggest mistake was staying in SB for college... I need to get out of here haha
