My mesh for a thin lip grille is ordered but was wondering if there is any patch work for gaps left when cutting out the cross members? Or is enough cut away that one doesn't have to fill in those gaps. I was figuring the cutting line would be flush with the foremost edge of the gap.

Hey fellow Newfie!! I got my thin lip mesh but I haven't had time to do the mod yet. I chose this one because you don't have any gaps to fill and, to be honest, I think it looks better

I have some pics of the job on my phone with how I secured the mesh to the grille. I'll post them later.

I have to try to black out the inside the best I can given everything but the rad is coated in anti-rust coating.

Craig, what mesh seems to be the most peopular for guys with lights mounted behind the grill? Does M1 block too much? Looks like M0 would be the best but i didn't know if people had used M1 and reported good things as well. Thanks!

also please start making the TRD stamp on them again!

 

M1 is the stand out favorite period. I go through 3x more of that then any other style. My local supplier was out of stock and I've had to source it from an alternate location twice now just to keep up.
I can & do make them with the TRD but only for a full grill. You gotta understand I make that by hand not with a press or any other fancy tools.
It's just too much to offer them as a stand alone product.

But in all seriousness i'll probably order the M1 from you soon and maybe hand paint that on there myself, though i'm an awful artist. Where are you in PA? I drive through probably 5-6 times a year and am always down to save on shipping/meet the guy creating stuff. Thanks again for all the effort making these and please ignore my constant requests for the TRD logo version

Question on selling of the mesh. If we are "trying" to make our own grille and buy the mesh from you, do you send it prefab? I mean, is it cut to fit the grille so all we have to do is do the prep work on the grill and then install? If so, would you sell a prefab Raptor mesh?? Bent/molded so all I would have to do is istall and apply the TOYOTA metal letters to complete??

 

Yes, I provide mesh that is cut & bent to fit - I can also have it Powdercoated for an additional fee.
No, I will not sell "prefab" raptor mesh.
