That's what my dad is hell bent on doing! That's his goal, and I think its sweet. Good for him. If we (I) ever figure out how to use it i can really see that thing lifting up good. I could almost feel it at one point the other day when there was a good gust. I took a turn hard and caught it just right and it was pulling out. At that point I panicked for a second.

Side story, the guy we bought the block from said in the winter if you get a big open field full or snow, you can literally sail the boat in the snow. And because of the asymmetrical hulls the boat will cut through he snow like butter.

My dad hasn't ever had to walk yet. haha. The first time we were home and he went to start it and it wouldn't start. The other time we were at my grandparents and went to leave and it wouldn't start. Now we just change the fuel filter ever 6 months and we haven't had it go out for a while.

Damn truck made me walk 3 miles once. haha. The alternator went out on me.

Sounds like quite the project. Good luck man It will be cool to see what it looks like when it is done.

Cuz there are 1000's of semi's on the roads. How many F-550's or whatever that is have you see on the road? haha.

If I had the money to really do something like that, I would use the F-350 body style and just pair it up with cummins engine or maybe something bigger, depending on how many taco's we were going to haul with it. haha

Edit: Although I did just look up the International CXT and that would be fine as well haha

My duramax can pull 25K no problemo, that's 5 tacoma's on a car hauler. I couldn't imagine that it would be much fun, but it could be done. It hauls my 28' trailer like it isn't even back there. I did look into a used Kodiak, but it has the same motor as the HD. Those internationals are pimp though.
