Not huge, tried patching it up with JB weld but that didn't work. So now I have a hole AND JB weld in the radiator so just going to replace it. Got a new OE one I am going to pick up now. SHould take me like 30 minutes to change because my fan, shroud, and front grill are already out.

Just a bunch of old crap
Ouch, that sucks when working on something fucks up something else. Hopefully you didn't get gouged in the wallet too hard and it's not a setback.

If you don't mind posting publicly, what did the OE radiator run you?

Well, its alive! New radiator, fan shroud, and original fan installed. The OEM radiator was $295 but I brought in online prices of $230 and aftermarket prices of $100-$200 so they gave it to me for $230. Then the radiator fluid was $60 for 2 gallons, I about shit myself but went with it anyways. I also had to get a new supercharger belt and serpentine belt so after everything was said and done it ran me just under $400.

It hurts but its what I get for rushing and not paying attention, you can guarantee it won't happen again. Now that thats done its time to re-locate my supercharger intercooler pump and install my winch.

Also, yesterday I installed the TRD short throw shifter and holy crap. For anyone that has a 6spd, get the short throw shifter, night and day difference and only took like 30 minutes to install.

Also yesterday I washed out a TON of dirt out of my air conditioning condenser and especially my intercooler. I did notice the intercooler is much more tightly packed than the rest of the radiators so it will be very easy for it to become clogged. I will have to start washing it regularly when offloading. Also, we will see if this solves my engine temp issue.

Be careful with a pressure washer as you can bend fins and its hard to get down inbetween the radiators. I initially unbolted and pulled my intercooler away from the AC condensor and used a garden hose on the spray fan setting to spray it out as well as the Condensor and the back side of my radiator. I did it until clear water ran out. As you moved it you could see the water turn brown and muddy for a second.

I am going to make a tool for cleaning inbetween the differant radiators. A piece of copper piping, braze the end shut, cut a few slots in it, then attach it to a garden hose, then you can lower it inbetween the stacks and clean them.

I clean mine the same way I clean the AC coils at my house.

Go buy a bug sprayer, fill it up with warm water, spray coils (You can use coil cleaner from Granger). If you use the cleaner then you need to wash it all off before you are done.

Pressure washers can be too much and bend fins as already mentioned. The bug sprayer is great for these types of applications. It's enough pressure to clean out the crap but not enough to bend the fins.

Sweet! I hate the way flow masters sound on the Taco.

On the 71 firebird we have, they sound amazing.
On the 48 GMC Truck, also amazing

Hell I had a flow master that they made for imports on one of my Civics back in the day, also sounded amazing.

But for some reason, they should HORRIBLE on the Taco.
