Thought I'd share this story. So yesterday I get a call from my neighbors saying that someone had decided to use their Avalanche as a battering ram against my block wall.

I wasn't home at the time but what they said happened was a guy in an Avalanche was driving up the street and had something get stuck under his pedal, and while he was trying to dislodge it he hit the gas and just accelerated up the street and plowed through my block wall.

I'm thinking maybe his Chevy just had a Toyota moment and decided to accelerate. Maybe Chevy needs to look into unintentional acceleration and floor mat interference.

By the time I got the call from the neighbors and made it home (3 hours after the incident), they had already towed the truck away, and all I was left with was the aftermath shown below. Surprisingly my dog was sitting inside the house to greet me (He probably was inside and just slept through the entire event)

If anyone knows a good mason, I'm in need of one.

Well, it could have been worse--no one was hurt I'm assuming. Hope you find a good mason that can make it look seamless again. Maybe get a better shed out of the deal too. Good luck!

I'm really disappointed the Avalanche didn't end uo in the pool. Those Chevy drivers have no follow through.
