Wanted: 2nd gen tailgate, black

I crunched my tailgate and need a replacement. I'd like to find a black one to avoid painting. Willing to travel Oregon, Washington, most of California. Thanks, dh

...yep, junkyards, craigslist, ebay, etc. I found a few white ones, but I'm hoping to save on painting. I know its a long shot, but figured I'd ask. Considering how popular these trucks are, I thought tailgates might be easier to find.

 

Very true... but they don't come with an extra. Check out the Long Travel section. Some of those guys take theirs off. Find a member from there in the right colour truck and send him a PM. The worst he/she can do is say no they plan to keep it.
