for 60k I'll buy a Turn Key Trophylite, a trailer and safety gear.

 

trophylites are sick but that frontier btf always puts out amazing work

 

No knocking btf. they put out great stuff. But if I'm paying $60k I'm buying a race truck that I can drive harder and actually race it.

Billie is know for making weird sizes. Like 17" and so on. If they are real thats a good price. You can get parts for them from the factory or DSM would also. Rebuilding them wouldn't be that bad but its just a lot of o-rings in the kit.

I have no idea, they arent bilstein. Supposudly off a x18 buggy. A guy from Bilstein commented saying they arent bilstein. PLus bilstein engraves thier logos into them. No logos on the shocks . I mean they still should be good shocks thou

ok so heres what im thinking if i pick them up and need to service them with new valving or seals what the hell do i get? haha

 

Probably a chance valve shims could be interchangeable with other shock brands. Contact X18 Co. to see where to get seals. I think my buddys gonna pick up the 17's

 

You'd have to take them to a shop and ask. Since you are in cali you have a few places I would take and ask. DSM, KarTek, McKenzies

 

we work closeby to eachother so i really want them now lol but if he does when does he plan on picking them up?

Try building the same caliber truck for anywhere near that price, I don't know how much Gil's into the truck, but I know what I'm into mine and I know I'd be taking a HUGE lose if I dumped it for 60

60K only gets ya into the door. Before I started building my truck we looked into it and we figured we'd be almost 80 into it if we wanted to compete

I just hope he cleaned up the wiring, I was with Jordan when he shot the truck for Off road and it was a mess. That and it needed a sh1t ton of shock work
