    Hey Im new to the forum just bought a 07 tacoma 4 door trd off road and wondered what were some of the best lift kits out there? I want a good ride quality and not really anything over 5 or 6 inches any ideas? Thanks

    Also I saw on a episode of Trucks! where they modified the 4wd computer on a 2000 tacoma so they can use the rear lock differential anytime instead of just in 4low. Can this be done on a 2007?

    I checked out the shocks they seem good. do you run them or know someone who does?

    I got the Old Man Emu kit and love it. The 5100's all around is another great option as well. Welcome to TW.

    Bilstein/OME Lift, 5th Gen Wheels, BFGs, fun stuff... Had a 3rd Gen, twin turbo'ed it (traded in on a F150 Gen 2 3.5 Ecoboost)
    Progressive AAL = 3 leaf springs, which from bottom to top, get longer.

    Standard AAL is just 1 single spring.

    I have the ICON 3 leaf pack and 5100's all around... had them installed yesterday. Ride is much better than stock. (Also purchased mine from DSM)

    Thanks for all the input I checked into the DSM website and I just wondered if the stage kits they have lift your truck or is it just for ride quality? Because I would think $1300 for shocks would be a little steep if it didnt.

    O ok so they are adjustable. Anybody running these? I looked on my truck and I think someone put a spacer leveling kit on it before I bought it. Do you think these shocks would lift it more than that spacer has? And one more question, does the aal change the towing capacity any?

    If your looking for a 6" suspension i would recommend the Fabtech 6", it's a drop bracket lift however.
