I have searched the owner's manual, the forums to no avail. Does anyone know how to reset the oil change warning lights on a 2009 Tacoma 4x4 manual shift? I put in synthetic oil just after buying the truck with 35K miles on it, and the lights just stared about 200 miles later. Is there a way to set the alarm for 7K miles for synthetic oil?"

This is from another thread and I have used this method before to reset mine. I dont think there is a way to change the alarm. I believe it is automatically set to 5K miles.

After changing the engine oil (U.S.A. only)
The oil change system should be reset. Perform the following procedures:
Turn the engine switch off with the odometer reading shown.
    (→P. 157)
Turn the engine switch to the ON position while holding down the
    trip meter reset button.
Continue to press and hold the button until the odometer displays
    000000.
If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
This, with my 11 I had to use the Trip A odometer though. Took me 2 tries but I got it, shouldn't be hard for you.

2009 owner's manual, page 361. I guess you didn't look in the do-it-your self oil section of the manual.
