2007 4x4 Tacoma Transmission HELP

So my truck has 90,000 miles. Im bangin out the services it needs at this stage of its life one at a time. I cleaned the throttle body the other day. Spark plugs etc are a weekend project. However, I am having real trouble changing out the transmission fluid.

I bought fluid, drip pan, bottle pump, wire for the obd trick, everything. Im all set to go. Hop under the truck, and im staring at my transmission completely unable to find the refill plug. I know were the drain and overflows are, but cannot find the refill for my life. Good thing i checked for that first....

Anyways, i've read two tutorials on this forum, searched, etc. But all the tuts and such that ive been able to find are for different trannys. I even went to autozone to pick up a repair manual, but all it states is remove the refill plug, with no picture or any other guidance as to where it might be.

I'd like to get this done asap as i do ALOT of driving around town, stop and go, traffic, etc.

Just to repeat, i have a 2007 Tacoma with the 4x4 option and V6. If anyone could provide insight? I would much appreciate it.

The fill plug is toward the rear of the transmission (relative to the drain plug) and about 3/4 of the way to the top on the passenger side of the transmission. It's a PITA to get to and even more fun to refill. Make sure you can get the fill plug loose before pulling the drain plug.

FWIW, stuffed a hose into the fill hole, ran it over top of the transmission, through the engine bay to a funnel that I hung from the open hood and just poured. Gravity did it's thing and I didn't need a pump.

 

I feel like I may have found it. Is it a vertical bolt cramped up against the body of the truck? Need a folding ratchet to reach it? And iirc the tutorials state it's a 24mm bolt, but I was able to fit a 19 mm socket on there, if i do in fact have the right one. Thanks for ur help

Sorry, missed your response. I can't remember what size it was but it was a relatively large headed bolt and it was a pain to get at. I don't have those fancy folding ratchet wrenches, I crammed a standard ratchet in there to reach it and cut the hell out of my hands on the heat shields!
