I may have to try the tape idea, or possibly sanding the edges with a dremel and smooth it out. I think I got a slightly different model, the ball is smaller and isn't "weighted". A heavier knob would probably work better with the quick shift kit I'm running. I'll snap a pic when I get home to show you the one I got.

I tried not using the nut but everytime I spun it on I couldn't get the shift pattern looking nice and straight.

I'm not sure what the rear AP bumper looks like and if a tire gate could be added after the fact but that's what I did with mine. Last year I didn't really think I needed a tire gate so I got the bumper without. Well low an behold I wish I would have done "it right" the first time. So I got on the phone with Kevin from ATO and had him fix me up. :)

Yes sir. Just need to put a coat of paint on it when I get home before I can install it. This tire gate is stout. But then again everything that ATO makes is. lol

I'm waiting for the dust to settle on the shackle flip though. I'd like to see one on the market, tested and proven before I install something like that.

 if it hasn't been too long crack that red loctite ASAP and use blue loctite or plumbers tape instead, unless you don't plan to remove your shifter ever again.

Changed the rear diff fluid. I had some tubing so I shoved one end in the diff fill hole and the other end up and out over the tire. A funnel fit in the tubing and made adding the fluid back in so nice. No pumping forever just to get one quart in.
