    78. He hasn't been doing super well the past year, but this is the first time he quit eating too. So... Not sure what will happen. Don't even know if I will be able to get home.

    Thank you sir, I do too. I haven't seen him a lot in the past 10 years, but still. I love the guy. Very soft spoken and never a bad thing to say about a soul. A true role model to me. He was navy in the past

    Yes they are. I had an uncle that passed away a few months ago. He was a former Navy Officer. Flew in WWII, bombed Japan. Flew in Korea. Earned 20+ medals, one of which was the purple heart. They were members of the greatest generation of men to live here in the USA. We need more men like them.

    No he isn't, but has always been a great story. Actually lost a football scholarship and didn't know what else to do.
    And I do have some amazing people in my family. Love them all and hate seeing anyone hurt no matter how little I know them.

    Mine was similar, Fresh outta school and economy crashed, no one wanted a zero experience power engineer. Took 8 months to find a job and I got my phone barely a half day before I was supposed to sign my Navy contract. Had already gone through all the interview process.

    Family means the world to me too. I hear ya man..

    My scholarship loss had to do with a brother who was great at football with no work ethic. Turns out small colleges look at that before they actually give you anything. But yes, family means everything to me. I love my family and wouldn't trade anyone but my neither for anyone
