My 95 had the factory locking fuel door.

A locking gas cap won't work?

You are a lucky man, I should rephrase. Locking caps throw the light a considerable amount of the time. Almost all was an over exaggeration but it is enough to be significant.

I have a Stant locking gas cap on my double cab and am happy so far. I have not had the check engine light come on.

Stant Sucks... go outside, open your fuel door and push down hard on your gas cap and turn it counter clockwise... I bet you it opens up. It doesn't lock worth a damn

Now go to Autozone and order a CST Locking gas cap. Locks and doesn't throw a cel... had it on for a year now
