    Anyone ever been up gold crown road in the joshua tree area? I spent some time checking it out via google eart and found like 10+ mines within a few square mile area:

    pick a weekend that im off and lets do this. i also have a trail book of the josuah tree area that has a ton of trails listed..they are all basic 2wd/4wd friendly..meaning that everyone can do it

    it would be a camping trip, friday and saturday night at different places. I'll have a sick trail planning starting in Lucerne and ending through Joshua Tree at the 10 :cool:
