    :eek::eek:
    I had that happen to me back when I was 18. Except I was in an 89 maxima and they were throwing trash and sticks! lol. I contemplated on turning around or not. I ended up turning around and when I got back someone was pulled over with a Hoover cop and writing up a report. I stopped and gave my 2 cents and left. Got into Hoover and someone t-boned me. They were turning left in a spot that you weren't allowed to and a school bus was blocking their view. haha. ended up costing almost 1k to fix it enough to get it back on the road. car was well worth more than that. It only had 130k miles when that happened. only thing wrong was no heat for the winter! lol

    OK guys. I am ready for the meet next month. Got the fuel pump and filter in and she is running like a champ! Took her out lastnight to test out everything and took her to the same place as last time and she ran AMAZING! I have a couple pics for ya'll.

    Suprisingly enough, those Land Terrains have yet to fail me... knock on wood. :mudding::burnrubber:
    EDIT: In the first pic. See the mulch in front of the car? I had to move the truck out and back in from that spot. I went out towards where I was and squeezed it back in between my moms car, the mulch (ran over it!), and the wifey's car, behind the mulch. I have another pic coming. Just waiting on the email to get in from my phone! lol

    Looks like a GM front end. There are no coil springs because that vehicle uses torsion bars which connect into the bottom control arm in the rear, and extend along the frame to the adjusters that are located around the transfer case on each side, inside the frame rails.

    Glad to hear it. I had that stinking suspicion a while back about your fuel pump back when I was asking about if you had good fuel pressure at that fitting on the passenger's side of the intake, remember? Glad to hear you have her fixed. Now we need to get you out wheeling more! Good job!

    Depending on how old the ones on there are, they do sag just like a spring. Basically the way a torsion bar works is think of a metal bar with one end fixed and the other can rotate on the longitudinal axis. The "spring" comes from rotating one end while the other stays put.

    Assuming the bars aren't worn out, lifting it should be as easy as adjusting the torsion bars. There should be a bolt somewhere you can crank on and lift it probably at least a couple inches. Past that you're looking at a new torsion bars. The "spring rate" comes from the diameter of the bar. A greater diameter means a stiffer "spring." Small changes in diameter have dramatic differences in spring rate. I'd think as little as 3-5mm above stock would be a huge difference.

    They build in adjustment to tune the ride height as the bars sag, so if your adjustment is maxed and you got no lift, time for new bars.

    well im gonna be stuck fixing the hood myself. im just gonna use touch up paint and live with it. insurance is gonna be more expensive in the long run than fixing it myself and its really not big enough to spend the money on redoing the hood or getting a new hood. buuuuuuut with my overtime ive got lately ive got a few hundred extra bucks and im either gonna get a new alpine cd deck or my roof basket? whatya think i should go with first?
