    There are quite a few in San Diego, and probably some in LA, but they are just food shops, not full blown Scot stores.

    I don't think I have any Kilt making stores near by

    That's wrong, they should not be running the store :p

    I went to Kilts & Corsets wedding yesterday. Pretty much all Utilikilt or Alt.Kilt. There's a kilt store in the hood but they're crazy expensive plus, no family tartan.

    Mead, fire and food. The mead was a habanero variant. Pretty good and brewed by the groom. Wedding was pretty fun.
