Me and my buddy are going to come up on Friday.

We defiantly need to take a roll call soon so we can plan the meals.

 

dang. It would be nice to get out there earlier, but we both have to work on Thursday.

I'm heading out early Friday morning and bringing both my brothers with me.ill bring two 30packs of beer and food.not sure what i will be bringing for food though

 

Were thinking of doing what we did last year and I buy all the food and we split the cost it was cheap per persion last year and we ate like kings I just need a roll call of everyone that's going so we can get enough food.

 

I'm confirmed. Wanna make a pit stop in Truckee somewhere and I can follow you guys out on Thursday?

Well unfortunately now I'm out. My Dad has decided to bail on me and go to Vegas instead.....Guess I really can't blame him. Plus I'm working nights right now and would be working the Friday night leading up to the trip. Hope everyone has fun.

Who else is headed there Friday morning? My father in law, Project510, and myself (taco + jeep) will be headed up 880N from Hayward/Union City and then taking 80 all the way up. Time is up in the air, but the earlier the better.

We can wait for some South Bay and Peninsula folks to get in the area then have one big convoy to 80. Then maybe stop somewhere in Fairfield for folks taking 680N to 80.

Thoughts?

 

I'm down to meet up with the North Bay guys along the way. I have Friday off so anytime works for me. What's a good place to meet on 80 for us South Bay guys?

 

How about we just say Friday at 11AM meet at the In-N-Out in Fairfield. It's right off Travis Blvd.

Jerry, any chance you can create a list of stuff we may need to bring? I'm assuming we need to bring our own water Been a little while since I've actually been camping.

 

I would bring all your camping gear

A list of must haves

1. Tent and sleeping bags
2. water and or drinks
3. deep woods bug spray ( it can get bad early in the year)
4. TP (Yeah your shitting in the woods)
5. Bio degradable soap for washing in the lake
6. flash lights

I'm sure there is more must haves but that's all that comes to mind.

As for food we are trying to do the same thing as last year with large communal meals we will just need a few people to bring cooking supplies. I have a big camp stove that I can cook a lot of food on we just need to see how many there is first.
