Am I nuts for thinking like this?

I've done a search on here for anyone else who has thought about or done this. Can't find anything. Access Cab paired up with a Extra Short Bed off a DCSB? Has anyone done this and if so, sorry about the repost.

Would there not be a gap between the cab and bed? I think it would look silly.

 

You would need to bob the regular 6' bed

 

Already been discussed in some way before. You would need to shorten the frame to go from the 6 foot to the 5 foot box.

Toyota did a 1 off for a show.

Damn. No wonder no one else has done it. Just thought it be a cool little rig. Access cab with with extra short bed. Keeping everything as short as possible and give some extra room in the cab for taller folks like myself and the shorter bed if you aren't hauling fat chicks everywhere.

why not put an access cab and and a short bed on a reagular cab frame?

 

That's what i was thinking.

 

I'd rather chop the the frame than swap everything out but that's just me I would like to take on a project like this.

AC cab with a short bed on a regular cab would be the ideal setup.
