    i have the seat like 2 clicks back from being straight up and down. and most time i do have my right arm on the console. but even when i have both hands on wheel i have never had it in my way.

    ^^ I think the newer Tacoma mirrors are lower(the ones with the back up carmera) bc I never had an issue with my 07 either...
    but in my 12' I notice it big time!

    I seriously couldn't see half of the windshield. It's directly in the middle of the field of vision. Mine is pushed ALL the way up to the roof

    i went to down town knoxville today. i could not really get it it my field of vision. idk if mine is higher than some others. or what. i think if i had the seat closer it maybe in my may a little. but not where my seat is now.

    This thing is awesome! I can finally see out the windshield when I'm turning right without ducking. I found the 1st gen mount was more solid than the 2nd gen one tho. The 2nd one was still wobbly even when tightened so I stayed with the 1st one. For he price you can't beat the benefit. I only wish these had been available in 2010 when I bought the truck...great product!

    Just installed into 2012 DC, not a lot of room between the headliner and mirror stalk, but was able to snug mirror onto the new bracket. Gives me 2-3" of a new view below the mirror, so I can see what's coming from my 2 o'clock for a change. Thanks for this, check is in the mail!

    Just installed my bracket this morning , very easy install , very big improvement

    Great product at a great price

    Only thing I plan to add is another 1/16" layer of padding or double sided tape to the top of the bracket as mine is slightly loose , I didn't feel that cranking on the set screws any further would be beneficial

    Payment heading out next week for # C10

    Why wouldn't you have just skipped the covers and not butchered your headliner ?

    Seems brutal and unneccesary
