That would be cool. I used to live in the Springs and rode Ute Valley pretty much every day. That place is great when it's in your back yard. I really haven't ridden much other than red rocks and dakota ridge in Denver
... I bet you hit 40mph man. When I did it I was in CA and it definitely felt like it...

Im usually up at WP every sat, only because of what Bob dealt with yesterday. Traffic coming back on a sunday usually sucks. I am going to crested butte this upcoming weekend but will be back at WP that next weekend. Let me know if anyone ever wants to meet up, or has a date in mind.

    NOTE: im a horrible planner

Did you ride under the huge rainbow wood feature on lower arapahoe? your riding under the trail called no quarter, that thing is a butt puckerer but fun as hell after the first time you do it. its the main photo on trestles website

trying to get used to the jumps...little by little..started hitting the trails much harder as the day progressed, but still gotta hold back with no armor and a XC bike with only 6" & 5" of travel

yea that drop is siick! saw a couple guys hit it as i was going under it...didn't look too bad, but still beyond my and my bike's capabilities right now

Sounds great man, If you want to warm up and get used to some of the harder trails the boulevard is a good one. The rock garden right under the lift at the top is the only funky section. Its ranked a black but i think thats only cause of the speed of the trail. No quarter is more difficult in my opinion. I would actually love to have more of a XC bike with 4 inches of travel front and minimal rear travel. lighter and better to jump with.

You will find yourself riding most all the trails at WP soon. now that you have the bug get ready to spend a lot of time at that mountain!!!!:D

My shifts rotate. And with rafting season it's hit or miss with me. Even though this season blows. Hit me up we can go.

I ran the lower section of clear creek Saturday it was ok. We go where ever. We ran everything last year when the tours would not run the rivers because they are not aloud at to high of water. We have our own boats and gear. But we are all very good at rafting. Teyig to run gore canyon this Thursday. That one will mess you up if your not carefully at any water level.
