lol true, performance is performance. However if they are knockoffs i don't appreciate the false advertising. It should be stated right away. I probably would have still bought them anyways, but more a matter of principle to me i guess.

Yes sir, 9006. They are REALLY bright. When i did the video of them on the white wall, I was blinded for like 30 seconds because of the beem relecting off the wall. If you need anything else, let me know. Will post picks when I have a better camera.

    Lights arrived last week....

Fishing for three months dammnit! Have to wait until Ausgust to get them mounted up!

GtLightingUsa, think you may get another shipment of wiring harnesses in anytime soon? It's hard to find all of the parts to build one up in Kodiak.

quick question about setting up these 35w hids, is there the need for a relay? if so what would a schematic look like? or can i just throw a fused line into battery and do a switch in the cab?

I just routed a inline fuse from the batery to my switch, and then another fused line from my battery to my relays.easy stuff. once you get the concept.

EDIT: I have one fuse for both my switches. and for all my relays.

http://www.gizmosforall.com/store/index.php?main_page=page&id=17, and i did one relay per light on my truck because my HIDs needed 20 amps each and I only could get 30 amp relays

so im trying to understand the purpose of the relay, where does that power come from? are you using power from the battery through the switch to the relay to provide power from the battery directly through the relay? just kind of confused about the schematic of this.

The relay is like another switch. It is uses an average of 1 to 0.05 amps so you can run a VERRY thin wire to the switch in the cab. My switches in the cab have a 5 amp fuse (thin wire so I can use thin wire in the cab) on the incoming wire, and my relays have 20 amp (needs heavy or thicker wire) fuses foreach HID and a 30 amp fuse for the led bar. I did not want a 12 gage wire in my cab.

The relay works by using power from the switch to magnetize a bar that comesin contact with the incoming 30 amp power from the battery that completes a circuit.

i know what a relay, is im just trying to understand where the power is coming and going. you are basically using the switch in the cab (power from the battery) to turn on the relay and allow the 20A (from the battery?) to the lights? what guage of wire for the lights that runs through the relay?
