ya i moved some stuff up this weekend, headed back to k falls monday and should be fully moved up next weekend

All my shop stuff will be in tillamook until i find a place. i ended up just getting an appartment so i'll just be working on stuff on weekends when i go home. i want to build a bunch of stuff for my truck before i start taking orders again, its been neglected for too long with how busy i've been haha

Got a stumper for you guys today.
I have an electric whine coming from somewhere near my tcase area that changes in pitch according to RPM. Sounds like a pump giving out but have no idea. Loud enough to hear at freeway speeds.
All electrical systems work, locker, 4hi and lo, cruise control.

 

jack up all 4 wheels, turn the truck on, put it in gear and let it idle. wheels spinning doesn't matter because they are all off the ground. meanwhile, crawl under the truck and see if you can get your ears closer to it and get the exact spot the whine is coming from.

I sheared a valve stem on a rock I didn't see, so I got the chance to put the hi-lift to use for once.
Ben lost a mirror. Trees don't hug nicely, Ben.
Bobert's passenger door doesn't open, but it's amazing what all he did before getting to that point!

Conquered new trails
Got to see miles of forest from the top of the world
Hurled a dead tree down a 100-some foot drop

Came back to civilization realizing how much man and machine can accomplish

I've decided that I want to get an exhaust for the truck. Just the muffler. What do you guys recommend? I don't want a lot of drone in the cab.

 

I'll be in Longview tomorrow returning my truck to stock. I'm going to make a back to stock sale thread but I'll give you guys a few days to call dibs.
