Weather in Auburn, Al

We are just getting it. Tornadoes, Hail (size of marbles), lightning every second, rain (seems like an inch a minute)

Oh and our Tornado/Severe Weather sirens have been going off every 5 minutes or so.


Im tired of this!!!!!

I just got through driving a hour and a half right down the line of storms from south carolina into north ga not too long ago. fun fun

Yea, coming through Lavonia. There was a couple of trees down on the interstate and it was hailing pretty good. It didn't start until I was almost at the exit so i just got off and went under a gas station. All the stores power was out. I was not in my Tacoma but it hailed at my house where it was also. I'll see if it hurt it tomorrow. I just hate it for the families that got hit by those tornadoes and stuff.

 

hopefully, even tho there is damage from the tornados, no one was killed.

 

Nope not that I know of. I didnt hear about any tornadoes actually touching ground. I think more than half were teasers

 

we had a couple of tornados touch down close to here last year.........2 of them i saw when i went out...you could see them going over the sky....it was pretty cool.

 

We had two the last time it stormed like this.

One that went through Salem (i think) and one that went right down 280. You can still see its path. Its depressing everytime i drive through there

 

one that touched down about 2 miles from here last year tore up alotta trees, but it wasnt too big, so it didnt do much.

 

Had on hit down in south GA mothers day last year. The path it leaves behind is just wicked. There were trees twisted and boards in the side of houses from other houses down the road.

 

the one here last year messed up alotta trees and some power lines......nothing major tho. now...back in 89 when hugo came thru....we had lotsa tornados that tore alotta shit up....and killed people. it was a badass storm to say the least.

 

The one that went through Salem was an F2 to almost an F3. Flipped over a semi truck. Peoples houses were just destroyed. F1 towards where i live
