CV boot popped Help

Any way of manhandling it back into the CV groove?

If you can't push them back into place what are my other options besides buying the whole Boot set?

 

probably be best to just replace it, but they are a pita to change just take care of it before that grease starts flying everywhere

 

Try unclipping the metal band like shown here in the first couple of minutes:

If that works, you can then move the boot over and re-tighten the clip.

If you can't loosen the clip, cut the band with a side cutter. Move the boot over, and put a hose clamp around it.

 

Its already flying, probably lost a little over an ounce of grease.

Is a zip tie a good fix for quick grease prevention?
