Busy. Had some fires, lots of EMS. It's like the flood gates have opened these past two months. Hoping it's not a sign what this summer is going to be like.

Had a tough call yesterday. MVA with 2 fatalities and an ejected infant. Lucky me I was in charge of the engine....I passed command to an arriving Captain about 6 minutes later.

There's nothing like seeing an eight month old turtled over in the middle of the road. horrible.

Here's the video. At 1:47 I'm on the far right. We had to hold up a tarp so Police could take their pics of mom. So many freaking people gathering around and taking pics. Just makes me sick. Total of 3 people xported, 2 reds and one yellow...2 deaths.

just curious, where do you guys to take your trucks to get serviced in the area? I've taken my truck to haley toyota and they have extremely high prices. Just an oil change, not including tire rotation, was $50. Luckily I had a coupon but still expensive for just an oil change.

That is insane. are they putting in synthetic? I have the first 3 years taken care of...oil changes and tire rotations...part of my deal, so I'm not sure of pricing.

    Check with McGeorge and Mechanicsville.

I had a first gen and changed the oil...what a PITA....the oil filter where it was located was a pain....I had a 2004 4Runner too....that was the easiest by far.

Hope everyone survived the storms today without too much damage. I came home to this where my truck would normally be parked....probably would have torn up the Taco... Thanks to our police and firefighters for your service today.

Told them I hit my bumps with little weight in the back and they looked at my truck and took it for a drive and said they would order the parts. Brought it back when they got the parts in and they fixed it
