Just ordered 17x9 Procomp 7032 wheels and was wondering if 285 duratracs will rub with a 3" Bilstein lift?

    Thank you.

What are the specs of the wheels (offset or backspacing), and the full size of the tire? And the bilstein lift is 2.5" unless you are pairing with top plate spacers.

You should be alright with some trimming and a possible cab mount chop

Getting Fierce Attitude M/T's put on Monday, will post pics then.

I don't do a lot of off road and I'm a little ashamed to say I picked them mostly on looks/pricing.

Hey guys was wondering if anyone could help me out. I just picked up a set of FJ TRD rims, same as the anthracite just different color, and I plan to get them powder coated. So I need help finding the biggest size possible tire/ best tire size for them with a 1.25 spacer that will have no rubbing. Thanks

And by 1.25" spacer you mean a lift spacer, not a wheel spacer, right?

Well if that is the case, running the FJ TRD wheels, which are already 4.5" BS, in conjunction with a 1" spacer, would lead to rubbing even with the stock tire size I'd imagine. Pushing the tire out way too far.

So even without a wheel spacer it's too far out?

Without the wheel spacer you might be OK. The farther you move a wheel out (with less BS or wheel spacers) the bigger the arc it travels when turning. With the new wheels you moved them 3/4" farther out because of less BS. I'm running 255/85/16 BFG KM2s on 1st Gen TRDs (4.5" BS), but that's with a 3" lift. If you're still at stock height the 265/75/16s might work.

My tires are at 255/70/16 right now but when i get enough cash i want to move up to the biggest size possible. If its not wide enough for me thats going to stink because I don't want to lift my truck.

265/75/16 is the best option for no lift...lots of guys run that size WITH 3" lifts...it doesn't look bad. But 285/75/16s look better for sure IMO

I wonder how it'll look, im really debating a 3 inch lift just for fatter tires but i dont know anothing about suspension. I'm really just going for a wide look, but without a lift and if the 285/75/16 or 285/85/16 arent good enough I guess I'm going to need to do some research. Thanks for all the help guys

    they don't make a 285/85 16 tire bud.

As for the suspension, check out the suspension threads...tons of good advice and such in there.

a 285/70/16 would be wider but a little taller too. If you trim and have wheels with the correct backspacing you may be able to run those

The tires you have on now are a little smaller in diameter than stock and right in between the two stock widths. You could probably go with the stock TRD size (265/70/16) and maybe the 265/75/16s. :notsure:
    Do you off road it?

The tires I have on right now are still on the original rims, I'm getting the FJs powder coated but I don't have enough for new tires just yet and they still have a good amount of thread. And no I don't off road it.
I mixed the numbers up, so many numbers right now haha
