    Sorry, Adam, didn't mean to be all cryptic.

    I had seen this review, which mentions problems with the ELM 327 as did the Torque App site:

    the first review said this:

    I purchased this particular ELM327 interface which arrived quickly and the packaging was fine. I plugged it into the car and noticed the diagnostic lights were positioned against the underside of the dash. The device slowly linked up to Torque (Android phone app), and would update very slowly, or freeze up intermittently.

    I bought another scanner, only this time it was labeled Soliport ELM 327, and it works flawless.

    And yours says "Soliport," so just pointing out that there seem to be two verisons of the same-looking scanner, and the Soliport is the one that doesn't have issues. FTW. I think Marcel has the same.

    No issues so far, used it on my drive to work and back and forth to my cert exam. I'll keep you updated on it. If it is a POS then i'll return it and get the other one.
