Another Toyota Paint Issue . . .

I just traded my '10 for a '12 3 weeks ago. I noticed that on my passenger side door there is almost a faint tan discoloration in the middle of the door panel. I have no idea what it could be and you can only see it with the right angle of light on it. Has anyone else seen this on their truck? Any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance!

 

Maybe a pre-delivery damage repair.

No need to post a picture. Lets cut through the rhetoric. No, I haven't seen this and you've already said what it is ("discoloration"). If the paint is indeed discolored (not just showing a reflection), take the truck to the dealer to be fixed.

 

^^^My exact thought. A good body shop will be able to look at it and tell.

 

I would still like to see picture of it.

 

If you just bought it make the dealer fix it. I wouldn't waste time talking about it with us when you have a dealer to fight with.

Took the truck to the dealer yesterday and they are going to fix it. Not really too much hassel from them. Sorry, no pics yet, late work nights the past few days but I will snap some later.
