You can adjust the torsion bars by turning the bolt that sets the key position. This video shows you what it looks like. The H3 is really just a glorified Tahoe, so the location will be pretty much the same on all the GM trucks. tightening the bolt lifts the truck slightly, loosening the bolt lowers it.
Just watch how much you move the bolt. It takes small adjustments in the bolt for large adjustments in the height. Also remember that even though the spring rate doesn't change, the HEIGHT changes so watch for parts binding in the steering and the front CV shafts getting to be too excessive in angle. They do offer kits out there with larger keys to allow for even more height, but then you would want to install a diff drop kit to compensate. The link below shows you what the adjuster looks like, and is located.

Alex I had a great time yesterday. Maybe one day Mat and some of these other guys will come out and ride with us... And I think the truggy idea is great. I would personally work on the suspension before going truggy... Oh and anything that any of you guys need just let me know... I'm really good with working on, modifying, and repairing almost anything... Let me know when anyone wants to ride. I have to put new wheels bearings in the Runner tomorrow, but after that I'll be ready.

Suspension system would depend on what tires you will be running, if you will be doing any cutting, and since this will be a DD, how much do you want to limit your off-roading v/s DD.

Once I get my truck insured maybe we can set up a mini meet before our big one in July.

Here is an older pic of the Tank as we call it... Or the Jeep/LandRover Recovery Vehicle. Haha
Oh no... I've been feeling them go bad for a while now... The bearing are so damn hard to do on these auto hub yota's that I've been putting it off. But they are to the point now that I must do them... I'll have them done today probably.
And Alex. I would do the Bilstein Adjustable Struts with an Eibach lift spring in the front. The rear is easy there are many different options. But with the Billies up fornt the truck will ride better than stock and keep the DD aspect your looking for. I love mine.
