    My job....welll.....not sure how to put this. The crew is as dumb as they come. The superintendant has no idea what he is doing.
    Example.
    Last week:
    Monday and tuesday, the crew hit a telephone line 4 times. Broke it....actually ripped it out of the ground. The local phone company informed us that if it were hit one more time, they would have to replace it (at the companies cost). Well, they did. Hit the SAME untillity 5 times! Which was propperly blue staked, and located, by the way.
    THEN, Wed. afternoon, they tore a power line out of the ground. Which was also propperly maked. SO, the superintendant sends a group of labors to a different part of the job so they could physically locate the powerline, and show that it was too shallow, and wasnt the responsibility of the company. They found that the power line was 4.5' DEEPER than required, then they broke it again! The county shut us down, and the company is now trying to prove none of this was their fault. My FIRST day on the job, I asked the Super if ALL the utilities have been located, and exposed, so as to not be hit during our progression of the job. I was assured they were, and that nothing was in our way. As I gave instructions, I was completly ignored and the Super would override any desision I would make. SO.......My paychecks dont bounce, and I hope this company looses their asses very quickly. If it means Im out of a job again, so be it.

    Oh...and to add, the labors and all but 1 operator are ilegal. After work, they send a guy to drive the street leaveing our site, and all the way to the freeway rto make sure there are no Sherrifs in the area.

    Cant...he's the owners SON! No shit......We already had a "Toe to Toe" over an issue. Fortunatly, he backed down. AND, I didnt get fired. :(
