I ordered the OME lift kit(Part #OMETAC05HK) and the Light Racing UCA's this weekend for my 2007 DCSB TRD OR.

This kit will come with the 886 springs.

I'm still waiting on my Elite OR front bumper and I'm wondering if I need to wait to install the OME kit. I really need to replace the suspension and I've been trying to hold off until the bumper arrives, but I think it's time(w or w/o the bumper being here).

Between the DC, 6cyl, and my cab having the minimal(60lbs est.) added weight of sound deadening/dampening material, does anyone see any problems running the new suspension before my bumper arrives?

    Thanks,

    Johnny

It might be a bit stiff or jarring compared to what you are used to but it will work just fine.

It will be stiffer than stock for sure , before and after you add the bumper

I have 100 pounds of sound deadening, DCSB 4X4 OR Auto, and 885 and I can tell its stiffer than stock, but still nice. 886 WITHOUT bumper and winch? Not nice.

I have less than 100 lbs of skids on my truck and my teeth are not shaking out of my head. Stiffer than stock-Yup. Uncomfortable-Not in the least.

    Thanks guys!

I was more concerned with any mechanical(suspension) issues that might occur before I got the bumper and mounted it. I wasn't sure if for some reason the 886's would be bad for the Nitrochargers w/o having the weight of the bumper and sliders added(I forgot that I'm also waiting on a set of B.A.M.F. weld on sliders).

Bad for my ride comfort I can deal with for now. I'm pretty sure the suspension is the original suspension and my truck has 107,000 miles on it and no AAL. Rear is squeaking, cab feels like it's rolling quite a bit while turning....just figure it's time.

You should be fine, little stiff but OK I think.
Now after you get it aligned then add the bumper you may need to have it checked after.

I'm being pretty conservative on my deadening/dampening material weight too.

I lined the inside of all four inner/outer(50%coverage) door skins, floor, roof, and rear with Damplifier Pro, Luxury Liner Pro on the back, floor, and about 40% coverage on the inside of the outer door skins. When my order shipped from SS it weighed 185lbs, I sold the leftovers and they were 65lbs shipped. With waste from my install I may be closer to 100lbs of installed material than 60lbs.

oh...I've also been waiting for all of this to get done before I start my LS460 retro. I figure I need it to be as close as possible to the final ride height before I tackle the retro.

I'm trying not to put the cart before the horse...but my 460 projectors have been sitting in a box since around Thanksgiving :(

Same here. I have the 886s on my DCLB with sliders and 80 lbs of front skid plate. Stiffer and better than stock onroad. No more bottoming out offroad. Not jarring at all. I don't feel like I need to rush and put a winch and bumper right away which is good - takes a long time to get a bumper made these days

Yeah-I swapped me out before I put my skids on based on the sagging on SJEs 885s when we did his.
Got a 1/4 inch top spacer too.

I've got front and rear bumpers coming mid summer and the winch is in the garage waiting for that. I need to finish up some cutting to fit my last skid on my rig.

Very much. Feels solid and cleared up some issues with tire rub. Still gotta go over the pinch weld but it's much better.
