Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Sounds good, just let me know if it becomes available. I don't suppose the book has become available either? I still saw it in your post so wasn't sure; if it is, put me in line please.

Not really mad. Just hate it when people flake. He decided to give the book to someone local instead of shipping it, even after he said i could have it. I would have paid shipping + a lil extra for his trouble. I could understand not wanting to ship a bumper or a grill, but a book? Just not right.. No integrity from the OP

Flake?? All of the items were delivered or picked up, how did he flake?? Did he do a no show? Seems to me people got things as gifts. No integrity?? He was offering these things for FREE and said he wanted it to go to someone LOCAL. Why did you even ask for it if you aren't local??? Seems to me that you wanted him to go beyond what he was already doing even after he stated that he would not ship. Who has no integrity again??

You asked if the book is still available and he said it was still with him. I did not see where he said that the book would be yours. He also made it very clear on a few posts that he would not ship. With Rucas, money is not a matter. If he were that type then he would not be GIVING away all of this stuff. That grille can be sold for some decent money and he gave it away for free. Those brand new lights he only charged almost half. If anything I would think that the reason he did not ship was not because of money but because things get damaged or lost in the mail and some people would hold him responsible for it.

If you REALLY need a repair manual, I'm sure you can find it at Barnes and Nobles, they sell it there, or at any car parts supply.

Mann!! Talk about friggen butthurt. Geeze maneeze.

He and I went back and forth in PM. He said he was going to get an envelope to ship it and get back with a price. He then PM's me and says he changed his mind. NOWHERE in his original post did he say he wouldn't ship the book. He even stated in the OP that shipping is on the buyer.

I know i can pick up the book elsewhere, but if i could save a couple bucks I'd rather go that route.

His original post said that he would like it to be local. How local are you to him?

Look, I can see your position if you paid him already. But you didn't. He made it clear (and you were not the only one non local who inquired about items) in other posts as well that he wanted things to be done locally. Perhaps he had his reasons other than HE WANTED TO DO IT LOCALLY for not wanting to ship.

This is just reinforcing the fact that I said if things got lost in the mail, blame and responsibility would be placed on HIM. Dang, he's already getting the blame and he didn't even ship anything!!

He told me he was going to ship it to me, I was waiting for him to send me a total for shipping. What don't you understand about that?

Oh I understand that you said he was going to ship it to you. I also understand that he changed his mind. But maybe if you type it slower for me I would understand better why you feel you are local and that he has no right to stick to what he stated in the original post.

He had the courtesy to tell you he changed his mind. He could have been a jerk and said nothing and kept you waiting.

Hey SoCal, tell you what. I'll buy the book for you. I'll be heading down to Barnes and Nobles tomorrow evening anyway so I'll pick it up. I won't even charge you shipping. Please PM me your shipping info. I'd rather it be sent to a business or POBox so I don't get blamed for stalking or harassing you.

Edit: I just saw that you put up for sale a 2010 owner's manual for 30 dollars when I got mine for 12 from the dealer....I also see that most of your posts are about getting stuff from other people. You know what? BECAUSE of that I think I'm going to FLAKE on buying you that repair manual.
