Ya not surprised by that really. Im sure im close to about the same in terms of travel. But that were that extended CO comes into play.

And the plate bumper helps a lot with the stiff ride..so does removing your sway bar, especially offroad. Id get a rear bumper too tho before id dive back into suspension..plus you know maybe drive it a little more be for that too lol

Already ditched the sway bar and yes I want some extended travel CO's and I need to ditch these 886's since I am not going to run a winch up front now.

Did you decide to get those skyjacker leafs yet?

If you're getting a plate bumper keep the 886 coils

The 885's are for a plate bumper and the 886's are for a plate bumper and a winch. Or at least that is what they are supposed to be. haha I'll have to see what happens when I get the bumper on. Although I am thinking of getting some Fox extended travel CO's eventually and I doubt the 886 would fit them. Not sure though.

I want this guys motor from XR-U. This is his sig:

A hand throttle is useful for winching too. When you have to be outside of the truck winching, you can raise the RPMs so the battery doesn't discharge as much.

That would actually be an awesome idea. Brant was telling me that (at least on the 2nd gen tacomas) the alternator produces so little power at idle and the vehicle uses so much that it won't charge your battery.

Ha! That's cool. Its on my mod list now.

Ya I got the leafs fro. Tim lol now my package from him is gonna be epic lol

Im with adam tho keep the 886s

They wont fit the foxes tho. Not long enough I think.

And trust me. You do NOT want that guys truck. The amount of money he has dumped into that thing is insane. Over 20k in just motor stuff. Read his build. Its crazy. He os on hos second motor. Made me not want to turbo my truck.

I read some of his build thread and saw that he killed a motor. haha

How long would a spring have to be for a shock? The 886's are longer than the 885 and have like 70lbs more spring rate (15.83" long @ 660lbs). They are supposed to be able to maintain 3 inches of lift with a plate bumper and winch up front. The 885's are supposed to maintain 2.5" of lift with a plate bumper and require a spacer to reach 3".

That is going to be an awesome package!!:D

That's a good question..im not real sure how long they need to be..have to look it up later.

And yes it will!! :goingcrazy: rear bumper, leaf packs and rear window! Tims got my rear lol he said the bumper should be done today too! Hoping to see pics anyways

With the dclb the 886s gibe you 3" without a bumper. I dunno how people rate these springs but I had 885s and they were No where close to 3" even without any kind of bumper. I needed 886s just to achieve 3" still witout the bumper. Of course it might be because I am using billies instead of the nitro chargers.

I am also using billies. haha. And yeah the 886's are longer than the 885's. The only way to achieve 3" with the 885's is with a spacer no matter what you have according to OME. I am sitting at around 3" on the front right now though.

Weatherstripping on the fenders? Just go to a auto or rv store. Im sure they have some sort of adhesive stripping. What about canopy tape seal?
