Hell no, I wouldn't buy Hawk and Powerslot for a truck, I think they're a waste of money. I've heard Hawk pads eat up rotors pretty good and get loud over time and anything that's drilled and/or slotted is a bad idea for a truck in my opinion (lets rocks and other crap get in there and cause problems).

I bought Autozone blanks and Autozone ceramic pads (I can't remember their brand, it's Duralast or something like that) and they've been great so far. My only complaint about the Autozone rotors is they don't have the threaded jack holes to pop them off. I smeared neverseize on the backside of them so hopefully they come off easy enough next time. Otherwise, they stop well, are quiet and don't seem to produce much dust.

Mine is zip ties to my grillcraft grill right now. I have a mount that will mount it to the roller fairlead for the winch. I think they make one for the hawse fairleads that uses the holes on the front of the bumper.

I am looking forward to meetin you guys, that I didn't meet at John's that day, I will have the grill fueled and a canopy up the driveway is very sunny. I have some tools and will try to clean the garage so I can get to them, mine doesn't look as nice as John's. Bring what you need for parts and supplies I have a couple of hoses and buckets and some supplies as well as a couple of vacs and cords.

That's ok, you also have a lot of other pesky electronics that try to interfere when you get a little frisky on the skinny pedal :D

Fucking Goodyear! Did anybody know they changed the Duratrac? It looks the same but now the E load tire only comes with a 2 ply sidewall. If I wanted a 2 ply sidewall I would have stayed with my friggin Hankooks. As of right now I have two pairs that dont match! FUCK!!!

I thought all new tires only have 2 or 3 plys to them?

The old way of rating tires by 10 ply for example was for the old method of producing tires.

Yea, called Discount Tire Direct and they had the old version. The customer service rep even went as far as to call the warehouse to verify that the other version had the 3 ply sidewall. Hip Hip Hurray! + Rep for Discount Tire Direct!
