New head unit question

Im looking at getting the Pioneer AVH4400BH unit and was wondering if would be compatible with my truck. I'm worried about it fitting properly. Any suggestions?

 

It should with a dash kit.. but you can click on the "Does it fit my car?" link underneath the picture on the crutchfield site if you really wana make sure. just enter the specs that it asks.

Get this deck. Has an iPod style touch screen, as in full glass, as opposed to layered screens that they use for contact points.

I have the AVH-p4300dvd. Really like it. It fits pretty well with the scoshe double din assembly.

I have the same set up.

 

I had that AVHP4200DVD, same thing, but the previous year's model. You guys gotta do the bypass to make it DVD capable

 

bypass was easy enough with the 12v relay tho

It means you wire a relay to turn off the safety feature that prevents the viewing of video by the driver while the vehicle is being driven. It is not super easy, but requires the hard-wiring of a 12 volt relay.

You would have to do some research because I know it works on Alpine, don't know about Pioneer.
