    I'm new to the forum and I'd like to introduce myself. I use to own a 96 Isuzu Trooper 4x4 and now I am a proud owner of a white 2008 Tacoma Double Cab 4x2. I enjoy off roading, as well as building up my truck and continuing to add to it.

    So far I've done HID headlights, blacked out taillights, K&N cold air intake, blue interior lighting, and custom audio (two 12" Kicker subwoofers in box, wired to stock head unit).

    My next projects are 3" Procomp lift, flowmaster exhaust, black/halo headlight mod, and creating a custom Satoshi grille. I look forward to talking with everyone about their Tacos and I hope to post more pictures of my truck.

    Also, let me know if you have any good advice or other ideas for my next upgrades.

    Welcome. A must do cheap mod is the tailgate mod to prevent it from being stolen. All you need is 2 hose clamps. Search for it and there is a video showing how to do it.

    ^^ LOL. You're perhaps right. Just bought a new vehicle for the wife. Could have completely loaded up my truck (even supercharger, etc) with all that money. However, women are obviously good for some things. Who else would fix dinner or bring my tea?

    Welcome! If you do get a Flowmaster, I'd recommend the Super44. A few of my friends have diff FMs on Tacos (Super40, Super10, etc) and the 44 is by far the deepest and best sounding in our opinions haha.

    Yeah the Isuzu didn't have many mods, but it was a champ in the desert. Surprisingly, the first day I took the new Taco out it was getting stuck in the sand and couldn't go where I used to take my Trooper. I guess that's what happens when you go from 4x4 manual to a 4x2 automatic. Not to mention my Taco didn't come with the TRD. The Isuzu was a pretty good vehicle overall. If I had the money, I'd definitely be interested in the TX Baja. Until then, my new truck will be just as great :) it is my first Tacoma and I'm definitely satisfied with it.

    Great! I'm not familiar with the specific flowmaster selections but now I know what to get. I'm gonna look into that Super44 or Magnaflow. Not sure which is better of the two..

    And for lift kit I'm pretty set on Procomp but is Fabtech really that much better? Advice on lift would be good too.
