Your truck looks sweet the way you've done it up. CF hoods are for looks, and some claim they discipate heat a little better plus cut weight. But you're not racing your Taco now are you?

Spend that money on some other goodies:D

Yeah, your truck looks sweet the way it is, but I'm always up to try something new. I was looking into making my dash outta carbon fiber. But I don't have the time to play around with it right now.

Figure the price of that hood plus a quality matched prep and paint job, you would be in the price range of some sweet toys...

The only way I would run a carbon fiber anything is if it was painted. The whole carbon fiber theme is a little too 'ricer' for me. Not to mention carbon fiber makes for one hell of a fire if something ever went wrong under your hood.

With that said, keep it stock. Your truck looks awesome as it is.

There are two reasons to have a carbon fiber hood: weight loss and/or appearance. If neither of those are what you're trying to accomplish, go for it.

There is, of course, another reason: because you WANT it. That's always a valid reason because it's your money and your truck and if it's something you want, definitely go for it.
