New Wheels (Ballistic Jester 17x9) and NFab steps. Dirty truck. Removed the red inserts from the Jesters. Going to paint the big silver bolt thingies black today.

Have the same wheels on my Tundra. Love them and get compliments all the time. I was thinking of the same thing regarding painting the little plastic caps. Post pics when done!

What offset are the wheels? Are you still running your spacers? I'm looking at a 0 offset wheel with 275/70/17s. I want to keep my mudflaps on. I noticed you still have them on.

Here's the deal. Found these wheels for a good deal on Craigslist but they were purchased for a Nissan Titan and they are +12 offset. I left my spacers on and they are 3/4" or 19.05 MM. So, that technically leaves me with a -7mm offset. I rub the mudflaps slightly on full lock and rub the plastic liner in the front when backing and turning all the way. I'm positive that zero offset would clear the mudflaps and the plastic (with a lift), and it should clear the upper control arm as long as you stick with the 275/70. I went and took a picture of my control arm clearance. I have about 1 1/2" clearance so I would still clear if I removed the spacers.

I think 0 offset would be close with stock uca but I have LR ucas so that puts the wheel closer to the mudflap. I'm thinking I need something between +10 to +20. I know a 275/70/17 on stock sport wheels will only rub the stock uca slightly and nowhere else. Sport wheels have a +30 offset.

I may paint mine Indigo at a later time, but for now I like the look of them being black. They are put on with double sided 3M tape. With the temp in the 90s right now in Alabama I just pulled them off with my fingers. They didn't even leave any residue on the wheel. I assume they would be harder to remove if it was cold. Took me about 2 minutes to do them all. Here is a picture of the back side of the insert.

I'm not saying they are the coolest wheels ever with the red, but the red is what makes the jesters unique in the first place.

Here is a picture with the red inserts on the wheels without the perimeter bolts. It just looked out of place on my blue truck to me. I've seen them on white, black, silver and grey with the red and it looked good. I just couldn't make it work on my Indigo Ink.
