Same here for my brand new 650# Hypercoil springs from my SAW's. They are scary, but with an impact gun not hard to do at all. Still not safe, but doable.

    80*

I wish my house was 80* :D I haven't used my ac in the 8 years I have lived there. My house got up to 85* yesterday.

Basically you stick the nub on back of the cb and stick The other part to the dash. You can slide the cb onto the dash. Done. Just ordered mine... They certainly make their money on shipping. I saw them for like $9 at CVS.

I just put mine on my sunglass holder...the back of the CB fits perfect up there. The only issue is I hit my head on it getting in the truck occasionally.

Irish is having the shaft tubing replaced for something like $200. I think he posted in the RC meet thread.

I had my buddy check my SWR through the antenna not at the base. He left his SWR in my truck so I have a pro model and we can tune yours good.

We were talking to one of his buddys at his home base with mine and the added performance from a aftermarket mic is amazing. That will be my next purchase for sure - just saying so if you don't like your mic strap an upgrade would probably be worth it anyway so you might not wanna customize a holder just yet.

80 isn't actually bad for me. I grew up in a house without ac so I'm kinda use to it. I just couldn't make Jasmine (my dog) suffer through it.

Actual unit is only about 5 years old.

I was right, the condenser wasn't kicking on. Guy found it to be some relays in the condenser. Said I'll get a bill in the mail. My mother in law was here with him since I couldn't get out of a job site meeting.

Glad to see you got it fixed. Hopefully the bill isn't crazy.

If I had a new unit and a house that was semi insulated I would run it. My unit is 15-20 and my house is insulated like poo. Yesterday I just worked on my truck and yard till 10pm so I would of been sweating regardless. Not turning it on is a motivational factor as well. If it was nice and cool inside I would never get anything done outside :D

BTW - wheels are great...thanks again! I'm a huge fan of them. So much easier to clean then my Sport wheels and they ride perfect.
