Yeah guys I was at Toyota and then I got offered one where I am now and it's a lot better, where I was in Toyota I didn't see a future there for me Doing what I did and aha I could move up to, here at ipac they're treating me very well, paying for all the school and stuff I need to learn to become a mechanic and I'll have all the certifications I need and asc certified not just a regular certificate, I'm really liking it here and the best part is no rotating shifts and I get two days off a week like today I'm off :)

Well kinda shitty really. I was just at work normal day it seemed and my boss comes out and tells me there is a meeting in a few minutes. I say okay, and when the time comes I start heading that way asking some of my other peers if they are going to the meeting and my boss says its only for a few supervisors.

So I walk into the room and I see five other of my peers and HR all upper management. And they told us basically that do to the times they need to down size and my position is being removed. So layed off.

    I couldn't believe it.

I do...but nothing on paper like degree. But thanks for the info bud. I will look into those places.

Looked at AT&T and they have no positions available right now.

I live around the walmart area so towns right there for me, plus your trucks kinda hard to miss, i like the lights on front and im hopefully upgrading to a second gen between now and december and deciding between a DBSB or a Access cab, im leaning toward the Access cab again haha, and ya if i see ya around ill wave haha

Mike, sorry to hear but I'll keep my ear to the ground. Is your background strictly in phone/cable install? Sales? You may want to look at security system installation services too. You never know, but leave yourself open to examine opportunities outside your expertise and experience.

My best friend just got layed off too in Seattle. It came out of left field. It sucks and hoping he also finds something soon.

If you need anything, shoot me a PM.

Man if I had known it would be this hard to sell a 2wd truck, I would've bought a Jeep  :D

You'll find something soon Mike don't worry there are plenty of jobs out there and you've got steady skills

As for my weekend I did this, finally got it running after 6 months of being a huge ass paper weight
