    Hello everybody from down under!

I posted a picture the other day of me holding an OEM inclinometer I got for a friend out of a wrecker. Well I got a few PM's afterwards expressing interest in them. I went to another wrecker today and found some more of them because of that.
    So I'm asking...

    -Who wants an inclinometer?
    -How much would you pay?
-Would you want it shipped directly to your house (more expensive) or wait until I get back from QLD in 5 weeks (slightly less $)?

I just want to feel out this first. I may also post in a cruiser forum about this because they are much more 'plug and play' in there. Our trucks are not wired for them.

Here are what they look like:

these r pretty cool, what would it take to wire it into an '01 DC??

noob question: does it have internal sensors for the angle? or would I need something additional?

I'd be interested in one for my 4runner.

    Would probably pay $50

Not completely sure about the wiring, but it has a clock and light so you may be able to reroute the clock wiring to there.
The Hilux Surf one only has wiring for a light, which is easy enough to do. I kept both sides of the Jesus plug on there.

As for the angle measurements, they are all mechanical and internal, so they work as well as they can (obvious mechanical limitations...they are 20+ yrs old).

The wiring is simply power for the back lighting. The units are completly mechanical otherwise.

Power can be obtained via the live line that controls your dash lighting, and will dim if the proper source is located.

Otherwise, the biggest issue is finding a place to install it as all american tacomas do not include the location on the dash to mount it flush, therfore it will require custom work.

Heres a site for anyone that is interested. http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTricks/Clinometer.shtml

OP, i am very interested in a model that includes Tilt, slope, and Altimeter/Barometer. Let us know what models you manage to locate! In fact i call dibbs. To save shipping i can wait if thats ok with you.

Almost forgot to say, op, can you please recalibrate these units, (The reset button) and confirm that the tilt slope function correctly? The alt/bar would be alot harder to test, you can reset them to your current level, but would have to travel to test. and if i remember aussie is fairly flat.

They are completely adjustable for calibration, if that answers your question Nick.
