    Ya! he has been texting me the last couple days to get the final configuration all figured out how i wanted. He literally welded up the tire mount to the swing out on today haha ships tomorrow! :woot:

    I have been reading his build for a couple days now. haha.

    I could do one in gravel:anonymous: I think I would need a stall converter or a manual to break those 33's loose on pavement. I haven't gone WOT from a stop yet, but I just don't think the auto has enough launch off the line for it a burnout. It certainly has more get up and go though:D

    He was making sure that those wheels would fit. He was getting rid of his mud terrains for those and pulling off the 6" lift. He is pushing like 500hp and 600 ft-lbs right now. His goal is to get 700 hp out of his taco.

    You don't want to see mine lol. I got this mega scratch that goes from the fender, up to the Tacoma badge, up along the body line, and all the way to the end of the cab.
    1st gens can haha! The 2rz can handle I think about 15 psi on stock internals. My buddy got an oil change and he was talking to the tech and he said he had a 1st gen on 30 pounds!:eek:(not stock internals of course)

    Yea but a 2jz is a totally different beast compared to turboing the 4.0L taco motor.

    a 2jz at 800hp is nothing really..they hole 600hp easy on stock internals. 1000hp 2jzs are where its at.


    and Mark the 2rz do well with turbos actually yes! also quite easy to do since they are an inline motor.


    and yes Mac..SC for me. I just don't have the funds i thought i would for the Turbo. Too much work man.
