I'm not taking sides here, but I know what its like to have shitty service from a "trusted vendor". If I had come on here and started a complaint thread about Wheelers, 99% of member here would've jumped all over me saying I was in the wrong, even though I had the worst online purchasing experience with them.

I dont know what happened with the OP and Relentless, no one on here besides those two parties know, so everyone should give the OP a break. No matter how great a vendor is, they arent always perfect. They make mistakes and sometimes do stupid shit that piss off people just like everyone else. The OP might be completely wrong, or completely right, or maybe a little of both. Everyone else cant just assume Eric is 100% fault free and the OP is to blame simply because Eric has had satisfied customers in the past.

Since this thread is so out of control and off topic, I've been wanting to disclose to you for a while that when I see you user name, I pronounce it "raper" in my head. Figured this was as good a time as any.....

Eric, were there any emails previous to this one which he asked for the dual longhorn setup instead of the access holes that are standard ? Or did he just tell you he wanted a longhorn cutout ?

there are proper ways to start a complaint thread, and this was not one of them. One example of a successful and proper complaint thread is as follows:

OP asked that there are 2 smaller longhorns cut out where there are the normal holes, vendor basically said no, and to get a removable or hinged plate. that's not exactly what OP asked for, so he changed his mind, what's wrong with that?

OP also had no problem paying the extra cash to just go to a regular bumper, but requested he get the plate that he had paid for along with the bumper, what's wrong with that?

what I see is OP said fuck it, build me a normal bumper if it's gona take so long, then when he finally got it, it wasn't the normal bumper, it was with the cutout that he had changed his mind about.

I read back a few pages, but didn't find anything so my only question to you Eric, is why did you quote 3 months, and miss your target time by so much? I understand IF you were far enough along that it was a big change, but if you expect to build an entire bumper in 3 months, it shouldn't take another 4 to switch out 1 piece.

I always learned and go by under promise over deliver, seems like OP got the opposite...

and to clarify so nobody cries, I'm not being an asshole, just not being biased.

Oh for sure, the CAPS-LOCK thread isnt so great. It's just tough for the masses to believe that a "trusted TW member/vendor" could possibly screw up. Whenever there is a complaint about Relentless, Elite, BAMF, Wheeler's, Sock Monkey, HomerTaco, etc, etc there is always a huge backlash from members that had great experience with them, no matter how politely the complaint was worded. No one is perfect and even beloved vendors screw up and screw customers. (not saying that did or didnt happen in this case)
