Maybe that's what the OP was talking about in the final email. The plate that was cut out and not the plate bumper. Maybe he should have been a little more specific about what he was asking for such as:

Send me the cut out plate along with the reg plate bumper we talked about.

or

Refund my money please and send me the cutout plate that I am paying for.

It could have been taken either way and meant either way. People need to learn when dealing with anyone being specific about what you are talking about helps more than you will ever know.

 

I know relentless has a good rep on here, but this just seems like one of those instances where it was a miscommunication+wrong timing+alot of other things. I mean if it were me, I'd just accept it, but ultimately customer was unhappy for something he didnt want in the first place. That said, I dont know where to go from here.

 

not quite right, reread the emails.
He requested the long horn, then changed his mind, then changed his mind again at the last second. Had he just want me to build the standard bumper, then decided he wanted a return/refund, he'd have the money as soon as the bumper was back in my hands.

 

if that was the case, id be fully understanding and would have sent the bare plate with the regular built bumper
