Check Discount Tire. Free rotation/balance for lifetime of tire. And their road hazard warranty is pretty damn good.

I can only speak to the BFGs... that price is very high.

I know the price of tires can fluctuate rapidly (this PO was from Oct'09) but I paid $782 out the door with their lifetime road hazard warranty and siping for all four tires.

I went to a few places around the county and found the lowest price, went back to Discount tire told them the price and they beat it by $40.

    Reasonable--nothing special--the 09 prices someone posted--are just that --09.
There has been a large increase since then, due to oil prices.
I paid 800+ for grabbers over a year ago.

The price of crude on Oct 21, 2009 was $80.40 a barrel

The price of crude on Jun 15, 2012 is $84.03 a barrel

(I see that it was considerably higher so far this year though)

Granted I don't know the ins and outs of the oil commodity but is it that much of a difference?

Blacked out badges-rims OME lift with 881's & dakar pacs, summer tires=BFG 31x10.5x15 on 93 4runner rims, winter= 265 75 16 DURATRACS on stock steelies,Flowmaster exhaust, deck plate mod, ARB front bumper
April 2011 I paid $840 out the door for BFG AT 31x10.5x15 as comparison for the OP

This is in Canada where we usually pay more then USA and did include the 13% HST tax here.

I provided the shop with my own rims after being restored be me so I did mount the rims (with the new tires) myself on the truck when I took my winter tires off....therefore a bit less labour for the shop.

It was a good deal I think for me ...also got a $50 mail in rebate back from BFG

The Falkens are great tires. Quiet on the highway, handle great it wet and dry, handle rock and dirt roads with ease, climb great, even do pretty good in the mud. Only complaint is that the sidewalls are very stiff and a pain to mount them, but they are a tough tire with great results everywhere.

My wife had a jeep commander and it had the Eldorado Sport Furys and it was an absolute beast on snowy, slushy and icy roads. I pulled my boat home 30 miles in a nasty blizzard and never lost control. Gravely and muddy boat ramps were no problem. I may get them in E rated 10 ply for my taco. The price is good too
