The OP went about it a little harsh, but that, as expected, got out of hand way too quick. I dont blame the OP for not returning to that one.

i'd say both were at fault in the design issue. timeframe problem is on eric though. seemed like an exact copy of mikes situation

 

i can't imagine waiting 7 months for something i've already paid for, i'd get so impatient, i'd def back out

 

The 1 month wait for my Avid stuff KILLED me, but the wait was SOOOOO worth it!

 

1 month is so doable, sometimes it takes like 2 weeks just from purchase to have them ship it, then like a week to get to u, but once you're anxious time gets exponentially longer, like waiting in line when you're in a hurry

 

I did however purchase a pair of bike mounts for the rails of my truck from a member on here, when he shipped them on Tuesday he said they would be here in 7-10 days, got them today!!! Gonna mount them tomorrow.

 

John had to wat 6 months for the racks i built him, but it was volentary on his part. could have had them very quickly but opted to wait for a meet instead of paying shipping.

if i were to take 6 months to built them however when quoting him for a month, i wouldn't be acting the same way eric did in that thread.

that's true, the OP never did mount it. it was steel though.

 

I wouldnt label myself as a mountain biker or road biker, more of a go out on the weekend when i;m not feeling too lazy and ride some of the public trails or just around the neighbor hood, i used to ride my bike all the time but have been slacking the last few years.

 

yea back when i used to live in gainesville, sometimes i would bike around just to save gas, now i can't really go anywhere on a bike other than the post office or advance auto parts
