OOPS spoke to soon, as I'm sitting here typing, the thunder is rolling in so the fireworks will be canceled...I hate to see animals getting spooked by thunder, fireworks, lightning Etc... have a nice weekend Sue.

Sue - it does cool off very quickly. We have 6 windows in our bedroom alone; 30 doors and windows on the main living floor of the house. With the ceiling fans, airflow really helps cool the house quickly!

I was awake at 3:30 this morning. Stayed in bed until 4 and then got up. Coffee is my friend.

So far vacation has been great Susan. Very relaxing. Bon fire on the beach tonight.

How long has it been to see the real thing

 

Waking up at 4 makes for a long day but at least I got all of the grass cut, treated the lake and pond to keep the algae down, got the new grass seed watered and did a few other projects. Tomorrow I can do a few smaller projects and maybe have time to cut the lumber for the shooting bench.

For now, I'm sitting on the back porch enjoying a beautiful evening sitting in a rocker and sipping a gin and tonic.

getting things done on the "66". rear fluid changed, oil changed, had to get throttle bracket tacked on, again! , replaced a steel exaust doughnut with a composit one, had had to bend the choke arm slightly to keep the choke rod from hanging up, and then locked the shift linkage up and had to crawl back under the car to unlock it. The stock muncie shifters aren't nearly as good as a Hurst Shifter. Maby should put the Hurst back in.
