You don't really have any down time for you're truck do you? Do you have another vehicle you could drive if you just pulled the 3rd member and has it assembled?

I don't remember Bob and Robert saying it was real difficult.

Morning and I'm headed out on a poker run. See y'all later.

Picked this up from a friend of mine for 100. Was it a good or bad buy? I also got my front end aligned with the purchase..

As long as the grooves are sharp and the crown is clean you did good.

And forget that stuff about a poker run today; smoked a wheel bearing so I'm waiting for a truck and trailer.

Damn that's a bummer. Front or rear? The guy put it in his 1911 but never fired it.

Rear; it damn near tossed me over as it slowed down the slight wobble became a pretty good toss back and forth. I got a new tire put on my rim and picked up some bearing seals today. When I cool off I'll go out there and repack the bearings and put the new tire on.

As for the 1911 barrel you did pretty good on that.

Not the truck... the bike. Was only a lot more dangerous. :D When I get done with this beer I'm headed out to the garage to start repacking the bearings and getting it back together.

On the bike you have to:

    1. Lift the bike
    2. Remove brake calipers/pads, remove axle to drop the tire.
    3. Remove the bearing seal to pull out bearing.
    4. Clean off old grease and repack bearing either by hand or with tool.
    5. Do steps 2 and 1 in reverse order.
    6. Hope like hell you put it all together right because if it locks up and seizes you can go down.
    7. Have beer and go for test ride. :D
